Araucaria

Araucaria is a genus of large, coniferous evergreen trees with distinct, whorled branches and stiff, pointed leaves. These trees are known for their massive size, often exceeding 60 meters, and some species, like the monkey puzzle tree (Araucaria araucana), have edible seeds.

Araucaria species are found in South America and Australia and can be identified by their hard, durable wood and prominent, often globe-shaped female cones.
