Ground Orchids

Ground orchids, commonly known as Spathoglottis plicata, are terrestrial orchids with pleated, lance-shaped leaves emerging from pseudobulbs at their base. They grow in clumps and produce tall flower stalks with showy, non-fragrant flowers in shades of purple, pink, white, or yellow that can bloom year-round in warm climates.

They are low-maintenance, easy to grow in the ground or pots, and prefer consistent moisture in well-drained soil with partial to full sun.
